Promoting women’s economic, political and soci0-cultural rights have been at the heart of TWN Africa’s work on gender and development. Over the years we have worked, and continue to undertake, research on issues impacting women’s effective participation in the economy, built networks and advocated at the national, regional and global levels for policy and practices that address the barriers that impact African women’s total participation in the economy.
