NEPAD
Central to the political economy programme of activities is the concern for African governments and civil society to respond to the challenges posed by the global regime to African development.

Activities involving civil society mobilisation and advocacy on the WTO and other multilateral agreements; work on the Structural Adjustment Particpatory Initiative and promoting Africa's development agenda; engagement with African institutions all were geared to resist the further encroachment of the global regime.
